Serving Western Canada, Prime Power Corp. is a next generation emergency power sales and service company.  Prime Power provides peace of mind to our customers by providing quality products backed by an excellent customer service experience.

 
The company was founded by Shawn Merkley, an industry expert with over 20 years experience in the sales and service of generators and accessories.

We handle projects of any size and bring the same level of expertise and reliability to the small home setup as we do to the mission critical Life Safety CSA operations.  

Shawn Merkley is the owner and founder of Prime Power Corp. He brings over 20 years of experience to the table.

Shawn began his career in the Power Generation industry in Eastern Canada around the time of the “Ice Storm” in 1998. During his time, he had the privilege of working for several reputable companies and held various positions from parts and service to business development roles.

Creating a next level power generation business has always been a passion for Shawn.  Prime Power Corp is more than just a vision, but a dynamic company created by taking the most important, positive and powerful experiences of Shawn’s career.
